“Satsang-Dhaka University” which is leaded by the ideal of beloved Purusottom Sree Sree Thakur Anukulchandra was established by some inflamed young students in the lap of Jagannath Hall Upasanalaya on July 24, 1998. This organization was given approval by both honorable V.C. Dr. A K Azad Chowdhury and honorable proctor A.K.M. Nur-Un -Nabi Dr. Saiful Islam, Dean of pharmacy faculty and Professor Dr. Sitesh Chandra Bachar of that department also played a vital role for this organization. Not only that, but also the great effort of inspired Satsangi and other general students of Dhaka University including H. Mohon Roy (sociology), Sanjib Saha (pharmacy), and Sacindra Nath Biswas (history) made our brightening dream revealed.

“Satsang-Dhaka University” is a non-political, socio-cultural, religious and voluntary organization which is actually a philanthropist organization according to Sree Sree Thakur. With taking the absolute ideal of Sree Sree Thakur, day by day we try to do some non-political, socio-cultural, religious and voluntary activities.

•  Arranging weekly assembled prayer session for world peace on Friday in the due monthly time.

•  Arranging weekly study circle on Tuesday.

•  Arranging monthly quiz and computer test.

•  Maintaining a library where books are available for study and sell.

•  Arranging English session occasionally.

•  Arranging a welcoming ceremony for new comers in the university.

•  Arranging an establishment anniversary.

•  Bringing out a delightful procession on the occasion of establishment anniversary.

•  Arranging some game events like Football, Chess, and Cricket etc. on the occasion of establishment anniversary.

•  Publishing an annual souvenir named Anukul Dipti.

•  Receiving warmly the meritorious students.

•  Publishing seat plan and result sheet for admission test applicants.

•  Standing beside the people who are poor, oppressed and affected by cold or any other natural disasters.

•  Participating in the national and university occasions.

•  Participating in the Satsang and other religious occasions.

•  Maintaining a board of massage for the student of hall.

With this activities, this has welcomed some scholar-wise-sage person named honorable D. Proceta Ranjan Cakrabarti(Kajol Da), the living son of Purusottom SreeSree Thakur Anukul Chandra, honorable Binayak Cakrabarti), the living grandson of Purusottom SreeSree Thakur Anukul Chandra and famous Bengali novelist Shirsendu Mukhapadhaya.
